For more than 30 years, the Magistère de Physique de Paris (Paris Diderot University) has been a 3-year university course of excellence aimed at students at the end of L2 and CPGE. At a time when many engineering schools are training more managers than scientists with the capacity to innovate, the Magister of Physics remains a training where current scientific questions which are the basis of tomorrow's discoveries are at the center of its program.. The Magistère de Physique training offers the possibility of integrating the best Masters in physics in France in the 3rd year and continuing with a doctorate.

Goals

  • The educational objective is to provide Magisterium students with an in-depth knowledge of fundamental and applied physics to lead them to the doctorate or in preparation for the Aggregation in Physics.
  • This training allows an understanding of research analysis methods, an adaptability to the various problems encountered in a scientific and technical career.
  • Cross-cutting courses in general culture and digital technology complement a wide range of more traditional courses in the fields of fundamental physics.
