The program is aimed at training highly qualified specialists in the field of general and molecular genetics, proficient in modern molecular genetic methods, digital technologies and data analysis methods, capable of solving applied problems in genetics, biology, biotechnology, ecology and forensics and in other areas of professional activity requiring knowledge and skills of an IT-genetics specialist
LO1. Apply modern achievements in the fields of general, molecular, environmental and medical genetics in scientific and practical activities; LO2. Model genetic processes and mechanisms of life activity of biosystems using IT-technologies and mathematical modeling; LO3. Analyze scientific, technical and patent information using information technology, including Internet resources, for scientific research; LO4. Investigate the mechanisms of genome functioning and inheritance, changes in genes under the influence of environmental factors, using the methods of general and molecular genetics and genetic engineering; LO5. Design genetic information databases and software for genetics, biomedicine, agriculture and ecology; LO6. Apply programming techniques (R, Python) for statistical analysis, data visualization and software development; LO7. Conduct complex, including interdisciplinary, research using mathematical modeling of mutational, population and evolutionary processes; LO8. Develop educational and methodological materials with interactive methods and teaching tools, introducing them into the educational process; LO9. Generate scientific and practical ideas and projects to enhance interdisciplinary communication in genetics and information technology; LO10. Recognize the need for continuous professional and personal self-education, applying the principles of bioethics and biosafety in scientific and practical activities.
