Bachelor's Degree in Materials Science and Technology of New Materials
To provide professional training for graduates capable of carrying out the main types of engineering activities related to the technology of production, use and operation of materials, with modeling and design in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, electronic devices and micro- and nanoelectronic devices.
1. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding in mathematics, physics, chemistry and computer science based on higher education;
2. Possess basic expertise in materials science and engineering;
3. Have an idea about the relationship in materials science and the relationship of materials science with mathematics, engineering, physics, chemistry;
4. Understand the environmental impact of machinery, equipment and processes and recognize the need for sustainable development;
5. Be aware of social and ethical responsibility and admire the professional and ethical principles and norms of their scientific, technical and development activities.
6. Be capable of lifelong learning, individual and group work with representatives of other nationalities and of the other sex;
7. Be able to design and present information, ideas, problems and solutions, both to specialists and non-specialists;
8. Apply knowledge and understanding in materials science and engineering at a professional level and solve standard scientific and industrial tasks in materials science and technology;
9. Collect and interpret information in research, development, design, and production and technology activities to make judgments based on social, economic, scientific, or ethical considerations;
10. Be able to solve standard industry and design tasks in the field of engineering and materials science;
11. Have the skills to develop design documentation, design of tooling, parts, machinery and equipment, control and automation of the technological and design process;
12. Notice and analyze, formulate and solve innovative engineering and technical problems and tasks with the help of independently found special literature, solve problem situations and solve creative problems;
