This part-time three-year Master's programme enhances students' ability to provide high-quality and comprehensive restorative management a majority of patients.

The programme aims to enhance students' knowledge of the clinical applications and limitations of restorative dentistry, develop the skill of critical reading of published literature, and enhance research methodology and presentation skills.

A comprehensive range of Restorative Dentistry topics will be covered, progressively and systematically increasing your range and depth of knowledge as you progress through the programme. 

Students will have the opportunity to learn research methods and techniques, whilst undertaking a year-long original, supervised research project.

Students undertake modules to the value of 180 credits.

The programme consists of six core modules (120 credits) and a research dissertation module (60 credits).

Upon successful completion of 180 credits, you will be awarded a MSc in Restorative Dental Practice.

Applicants must possess an undergraduate dental qualification (i.e. BDS, or equivalent from a recognised institution) and have a minimum of one year experience post-qualification. Applicants must have full and current registration with the UK General Dental Council (or equivalent) and to be in practice with access to patients for the duration of the programme.
