Bachelor's Degree in Science and Technology - PPPE Course


This non-selective training, with a limited capacity of 35 places, is intended for students whose professional project is to become a school teacher.
It is a 3-year training course provided half by the University of the Côte d'Azur, and half by the Lycée du Parc Impérial in Nice (25% of the courses at the university in L1, 75% in L3).
It is a specific course of the Bachelor of Science and Technology which leads to the award of a Bachelor of Science and Technology (180 ECTS). It includes: General culture courses (Philosophy, Physical Education, History and Geography, Science and Technology, Visual Arts and Music Education, English) and in-depth subject courses (French, Mathematics) are provided in high school.  Specialized courses in science (mathematics, physics, chemistry, computer science, life sciences) and specific pre-professional training for teaching professions provided at university. Observation and practical internships in primary schools in the first and second years of the degree program. International mobility in the third year of the degree program.

Admission Requirements

Required training(s)

  • Admission to L1: Baccalaureate or equivalent diploma. A good level of French and mastery of the subjects taught in primary school must be present. It is strongly recommended that students have taken a Mathematics course in their first and final years. Any other high-quality application will be considered.

  • Admission to L2: The prerequisites are to have acquired 60 ECTS in a L1 PPPE.

  • Admission to L3: The prerequisites are to have validated an L2 PPPE.
