​B.A. in Turkish and English Languages program is one of the dual bachelor programs that the school offers. It was created at the beginning of the academic year 2010/2011, where the Turkish embassy expressed its full support to establish a language corner and a special laboratory for teaching the Turkish language. This later developed into a B.A degree in Turkish and English, with focus on both language and literature –related topics. Students are expected to study a total of 144 credit hours, of which 60% is allocated to Turkish and English literature and the rest to English.​

The Turkish Language Division’s vision is to achieve the values of leadership and excellence by a generation of language speakers especially in light of the challenges facing the educated communities in Jordan.

Mission
Providing distinguished teaching methodologies and producing quality research that serves the university’s comprehensive mission as a research institution by creating an environment conducive to education and intellectual creativity and linking cultural bridges between Jordan, the Arab world and the world, in addition to achieving effective strategic partnerships at the Arab and global levels.​

Admission Requirements

Required Documents Applicants must submit the following documents:   1.    Original General Secondary Certificate (Tawjihi) certified by The Ministry of Education (for Jordanian certificates) or an equivalent issued by The Ministry of Education (for non-Jordanian certificates). 2.    Original Comprehensive Exam Certificate and original transcript properly certified by The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (for community college Diploma holders). 3.     An authenticated copy of both the civil identification card and Birth Certificate (for Jordanians). 4.     A copy of the passport (for non-Jordanians). 5.     Three photos. 6.     Original “Good Reputation and Conduct” document and an original certified   transcript   for those  who have been previously enrolled at institutions other than UJ.     NOTE: All accepted students are going to undertake an Arabic proficiency test, English proficiency test and computer skills proficiency test during their first semester.     (Testing dates will be announced at the website later on during the semester).
