The BSc Physiology with a Modern Language course will enable students to develop their language skills while studying function in humans and other mammals. Students will study physiology at the level of whole organisms, tissues, cells and molecules, covering subjects such as genetics, biochemistry, molecular biology, anatomy, pharmacology and neuroscience. This will provide them with the skills and knowledge for a range of careers both within and outside of scientific fields. Manchester offers French, German, Italian, Spanish, Japanese and Mandarin for the language component of the course, which includes a year abroad on a research placement. This course has Advanced Accreditation from the Royal Society of Biology.
