The main purpose of this interclass course is to integrate historical and philosophical perspectives in the study of the phenomena of society and culture, according to a tradition of research and teaching that has characterized this university since its foundation in the early 1970s. The training course will allow the student to acquire knowledge and ability to analyze sources, full mastery of the authors and texts, as well as the most relevant problems and methods of investigation of the different interpretative traditions. They will thus be able to orient themselves within the contemporary epistemological and hermeneutic debate both in the historical and philosophical fields.
