If you want to progress to a degree in the arts, humanities, performance, visual arts or communications, this foundation course will give you a good grounding. During the foundation year you will develop an understanding of key academic and conceptual approaches used in the arts/humanities. Core modules each take a topic or theme as the focus for exploration of current academic thinking and the basis for your development of academic skills. You can also focus on a chosen discipline by taking a module from the subject area to which you wish to progress.
