The Aeronautical Engineering MSc degree provides the skills and knowledge to work as an aeronautical engineer in the aerospace industry, in the UK or overseas. During the study of this degree, students will apply advanced theories to their practical application and work in the specialist laboratories using industry standard design and analysis software. Students will experience real aircraft systems with the flight simulator and wind tunnel. There are eight taught modules in this degree which will cover topics ranging from Power and Propulsion Systems to Advanced Aeronautical Systems. Each student will undertake a research-based dissertation and be encouraged to apply for and complete a 12-month paid industry placement giving students real-world experience of aeronautical engineering.
