Highly qualified engineers are much sought after in this important industry for the UK and worldwide. With high technical content, this course will prepare students for the fast-developing area of engineering. Through this course, students will gain skills in the major engineering functions allowing them to work in a senior technical or project management role within industry. Each student will write a final thesis based on a topic which fits his/her specific career aspirations. Students will have access to Staffordshire’s modern workshop facilities include specialist mechanical and thermodynamic laboratory support, a design studio with over 70 workstations, manufacturing facilities including CNC machining, rapid prototyping systems and a fully equipped test laboratory. Students may also use a wide range of software tools for design and simulation.
