The Bachelor of Music (120 hours) is a professional music degree with areas in music performance (instrumental or vocal), jazz studies, and composition. Students who complete this degree can go on to have careers as professional musicians (symphony, opera, church, jazz, composition, etc.). Many students also go on to graduate schools. The intensive curriculum includes eight semesters of applied study, upper level music theory and history classes as well as ensemble participation.
