The University Institute for Migration Studies (IUEM) has been organising this master's degree since 1997, training highly qualified professionals to develop their professional careers in the field of international development cooperation.

It is a multidisciplinary master's degree with professional skills, which offers you an introduction to research in order to gain access to a doctorate in international cooperation. You will acquire the necessary skills to work in national and international, public and private organisations, NGOs and NGDOs, regardless of the pathway you choose.

The comprehensive training of students is completed with internships in public or private organisations, which allows them to come into contact with the reality of international cooperation and development aid. Students of the master's degree will also have the possibility of carrying out these internships by applying for the summer volunteering experiences in Peru and Kenya. For former students, there is the possibility of doing internships in Chile, Peru and Cameroon.
