CSC PhD Studentship in Exploring Advanced Materials for Wearable Sensors PhD
Embark on the future of advanced materials applied in wearable electronics for healthcare, sports and IoT applications. The synthesis and functionalisation of materials, coupled with special treatments of fibre and fabric materials, are optimised to impart specific properties essential for constructing e-textile devices.
The successful candidate will lead the synthesis of advanced materials (e.g., CNT, graphene, MXene, MOF, conducting polymers, etc.), sensor fabrication, materials and sensors characterization (FTRI, SEM, AFM, Raman, etc.). Additionally, they will have the opportunity to collaborate with researchers from other institutions, including UCL and the University of Bristol, through research visits and joint projects.
