The Faculty of Law, in conjunction with the Bieler School of Environment, offers a multidisciplinary environment option at the LLM level. This option provides students with an appreciation of the role of science in informing decision-making in the environment sector and the influence that political, socioeconomic, and ethical judgments can have. This option also provides a forum within which graduate students bring their disciplinary perspectives together and enrich each other’s learning through structured courses, formal seminars, and informal discussions and networking.

Candidates for admission to the master's programs must hold a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Law (such as LL.B. or J.D.), with a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.0 out of 4.0 (or equivalent). This standing does not guarantee admission; the Graduate Admissions Committee weighs the entire dossier, including the applicant's reference letters and the quality of the research proposal
