Geography is the study of physical environments and human habitats. Dealing with people and places, it covers issues such as global warming and climate change, food and water resources, management of ecosystems, human health, regional economic disparities, urban infrastructure, native land claims and permafrost problems.

As both a physical and social science, geography offers a unique opportunity to analyze environmental and situational problems affecting societies from different perspectives. At McGill, you’ll benefit from a variety of intimate seminar classes and work in physical and computer labs. Choose from a range of field courses that encourage hands-on learning, and make the most of your degree.
