Cyber Security Engineering MSc is designed for Computer Science, Informatics, IT and other STEM graduates looking to become a cyber security professional. This programme is offered by Warwick Manufacturing Group, aiming to deepen students’ cyberspace knowledge. This course is provisionally certified by GCHQ. Cyber security is not simply about protecting the internet. As the world becomes ever more dependent upon digital systems, vehicles, infrastructure, industrial controls, finances, and medical devices all exist within the cyber domain. Students will learn to understand the nature of this evolving cyber environment, and how to protect and enhance the human experience within it. This MSc focuses on the technical aspects of cyber security and how these may be implemented in a multi-disciplinary way. The practical applications of topics are emphasised, as well as developing their abstract analytical skills. This course is accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) on behalf of the Engineering Council as meeting the requirements for Further Learning for registration as a Chartered Engineer. Candidates must hold a CEng accredited BEng/BSc (Hons) undergraduate first degree to comply with full CEng registration requirements.
