This course provides the practical skills and theoretical knowledge of drama education. It is aimed at practitioners working in both schools and colleges, and community and educational theatre settings. Teaching is built around practical workshops, which give students hands-on experience of drama, as well as providing ideas and techniques for use in their own workplace. A suite of modules unique to this course is designed to reflect current developments in education and a broad range of theatre and drama work. This course provides practical experience of a wide range of drama and theatre practices. The weekly practical workshops are run by Module Leaders, invited guests, and students themselves.
