Responding to the growing need for professionals in eGovernance and digitalization in the public sector, this unique, interuniversity and interdisciplinary programme empowers students to become specialists that combine competencies on public administration and public management with expertise on information systems and eGovernance.

The public sector needs interdisciplinary expertise to be able to fully benefit from the potential of ICT and technological innovations. Within a context wherein ICT becomes increasingly important for the modernization and innovation of the public sector, the sector itself needs experts (1) who are able to translate technological expertise into efficiency, effectiveness, performance and user needs, and (2) who are able to take into account organizational, cultural, social and structural peculiarities of the public sector when implementing new technologies.

Experience our excellent research-based education in an international student group, providing you all the opportunities for a rich learning experience. A specific focus is placed on the use of case studies; the emphasis is placed on how new problems in the field of public administration and public policy can be solved through the use of (technological) innovations. Moreover, specific courses are built to help you increase your international experience and interdisciplinary expertise. Added value is created by giving attention to the practical challenges of professionals in policy, administrative and consultative functions.
