The Master of Civil Engineering programme trains you to become an expert in the science and technology of construction and prepares you to take a leading role in the sustainable development of our built environment. Students with a degree obtained at an institution outside the Flemish Community:

Diploma requirements

Candidates can be admitted on the basis of a diploma that is equivalent to the Bachelor of Science in Engineering: Civil Engineering at KU Leuven.

Language requirements

Applicants with a university degree or high school degree earned in Australia, English-speaking Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, United Kingdom or the USA are exempted from this requirement: the degree and transcripts suffice, provided they confirm that the entire study was completed in English.

Additional requirements

In order to be considered for admission, applicants are required to submit a GRE test. Students who obtained a bachelor’s or a master’s degree in one of the EEA countries, the UK, or Switzerland are exempted from providing GRE scores.
