This programme will train students of Masters in Clinical Nutrition, who develop in interdisciplinary health teams, using the process of nutritional care individually or in groups and basic and applied research in nutrition, to generate strategies that contribute to the improvement of the health status of the individual in situations related to various pathologies.


Graduate profile:

  • Evaluates the patient who presents malnutrition or nutritional risk, to diagnose the impact on metabolic expenditure. 
  • Estimates the nutritional requirements of the patient according to his/her clinical condition. 
  • Indicates nutritional therapy according to the patient's pathology in coordination with the multidisciplinary medical team. 
  • Proposes dietary modifications, according to the organic disorders that present the prevalent pathologies in the patient. 
  • Applies the latest scientific advances in nutritional therapy of prevalent pathologies in the different stages of life, but especially in the most vulnerable who are children and adults. 
  • Designs research in Clinical Nutrition, from a scientific approach. 
  • Participates in training and discussion spaces representing the specific nutritional knowledge within the health team. 
  • Participates actively within the health team and in the community with the principles of health promotion and prevention.
