The purpose of the programme is to train Masters in Family Sciences, promoters and managers of the family as a fundamental element of society; prioritizing the personal, social, educational, economic, legal, technological and political nature of the family; with the purpose of demonstrating the influence of the quality of the family environment in the marital relationship and the education of children and its impact on social welfare.

Graduate profile:

- Collaborates in a coordinated manner in interdisciplinary teams, to meet the needs and problems in the areas in which families in general and their members in particular develop.

- Generates in different environments, necessary conditions that promote anthropological, legal, economic and social principles related to family and marriage.

- Diagnoses, designs, develops and applies research processes and methods related to the education of children, the media and ethics related to the family.

- Shows initiative and innovation in dealing with families in their different environments such as social, political, cultural and educational, being creative, transformative and formative.

- Critically evaluates contemporary perspectives related to family sciences.

- Promotes the publication, dissemination and application of their projects and research on the family and marriage, both to specialized and non-specialized audiences.

- Exercises autonomous and continuous learning on disciplines related to the family.

- Uses technology as a tool for continuous learning and professional performance.
