This professional bachelor's degree aims to provide the mechanical industry with employees with a practical mastery of the concepts and computer tools related to the activities of three-dimensional measurement with or without contact. The teaching will focus on the acquisition of knowledge and know-how through concrete achievements inspired by real industrial problems. The skills acquired will allow access to intermediate responsibilities between those of the technician and the engineer. Since most of the mechanical measurement industry has now adopted design and dimensioning tools as well as measurement processing and analysis, graduates will naturally find employment in companies of all sizes (PMI, large group, …) and any sector of activity (transport, energy, …) who need a control of their part as well as to ensure the best quality of their product. The proposal for the Three-Dimensional Measurement license comes from the observation that measurement in the industrial field has evolved very significantly in recent years. An exchange with the management of SNECMA highlighted this development. This leads to a difficulty in recruiting young employees with the necessary skills, but also a need to increase the skills of the company's companions. This difficulty is common with many other companies using measuring devices but also for the manufacturers of these machines. In the whole of the training offer, apart from private, we do not find at the University of Evry as in Ile de France training directly focused on this core business consisting in mastering the complete three-dimensional measurement device. That is to say the configuration of the machine, the realization of the measurements and the processing and the analysis of the data and this adapted to the various means of measurements with and without contact. There is also the whole axis of reverse engineering possible to identify. At the industrial level, you have understood that we have a very strong collaboration with the SAFRAN center (SNECMA of Corbeil) which helps us to identify the need but also to define the content of the training. They identified a recurring need in this area over several years, directly on their various centers but also from their suppliers and their subcontractors. An annual need of about fifteen people is quite identifiable, which makes us target a staff of 14 students per year. We therefore target through apprenticeship training students with a DUT or BTS diploma close to design, production and measurement as well as Science For Engineers type licenses. Recruitment in Continuing Education (Professionalization Contract) is also possible due to the internal need for companies to develop operators already working on these types of machines but not on all of the training offered. The target position is therefore that of Expert Metrologist and we believe that a constant annual flow of order of 15 students is consistent with industrial needs. We will be able to increase these numbers to a maximum of 24 if additional demand arises.
