Biosystems engineering is the applied engineering field related to development and production of technologies and facilities required in the fields of food, organisms, energy, environment, and biomaterials by combining natural science and engineering technology. Department of Biosystems Engineering aims to cultivate high-quality individuals who can contribute to the development of next-generation bioindustry, energy, environment, and food by applying a variety of engineering knowledge and natural science technologies to biosystems. Recently, it is contributing to mechanization and automation for efficient biological production.
