Since its establishment in 1982, the Department of Pharmacy has been playing a pivotal role in cultivating experts of regional medicine, hygiene, and pharmacy as the only educational institute for pharmacists in the Gangwon region. The Department of Pharmacy has been greatly contributing to producing professional pharmacists demanded by this era by teaching students with its advanced and systematic curricula. After converting the school system to a 6-year-course in 2011, it is expected to play a bigger role in increasing national health and welfare by producing pharmacists with global senses.
