Established in 1952, the Department of Forest Resources boasts a long history and tradition along with the traces of Korea’s forestry history. The Department of Forest Resources operates integrated courses of basic studies and applied studies on forest bio-resources and forestry, which are the basics of forest science. Department curricular include dendrology, tree physiology, forest ecology, tree breeding and tree biotechnology on bio-resources, and silviculture, forest survey, erosion and control engineering, sediment hydraulics, torrent water quality analysis and forest resources management on forestry.
