The Bachelor's degree in Brazilian Studies is about language, culture, history and social conditions in Brazil. You will gain an understanding of Brazilian everyday life, and you will learn about the country's social, political, historical and cultural conditions. In Brazilian Studies, you will learn to read, speak and write the Brazilian variety of Portuguese. You will become an expert in Brazil, and you will learn to create bridges between Denmark and Brazil in many areas.  

Daily life at Brazilian Studies  The teaching in the Bachelor's degree program in Brazilian Studies consists primarily of class hours and work in your study group. You will give presentations and participate in discussions when working with Brazilian history, Brazilian business or current political conditions in the country. Part of the teaching is in English and during the study also in Brazilian Portuguese.

Specific admission requirements You must have passed the following specific admission requirements:
  • Danish A
  • English B
  • History B or History of Ideas B or Contemporary History B
  • An additional language (beginner language A or advanced language B)
If you are missing one or more subject levels, you have the opportunity to supplement.


If you do not meet the grade requirement in quota 1, you must apply for admission to quota 2 no later than March 15 at 12 noon. Otherwise, you will not be able to be admitted.
