In the Bachelor's degree program in Religious Studies, you learn about the interaction between religion, culture, and society. You study major world religions, ancient religions, new religions, and religious movements. You also work with religious phenomena such as myths, rituals, beliefs about God, legends, and holiness.  

Everyday life at Religious Studies
The teaching at Religious Studies is based on lectures and teaching in small groups, where you participate in discussions, give presentations and work with your study group. You learn about historical, sociological, psychological and philosophical perspectives on religion, and you analyze the current form and social position of religions.  

Electives and language subjects
In the Bachelor's degree program in Religious Studies, you will also gain knowledge of a culturally relevant classical language such as classical Arabic, Latin, Hebrew, Old Norse or Greek. However, these are not all offered every semester, but in rotation.  

Career opportunities
