At Economics we are interested in how the economy works. We deal with how to organize companies or organize economic policy so that well-run companies and economies are achieved. A company must be organized so that management and employees get the most out of the resources available, and the same applies to the economy, which must create consumption opportunities for everyone, taking into account sustainable development.

Daily life at Economics
The Economics course combines lectures and small group practice sessions, where you give presentations, participate in discussions, and complete assignments. You will spend many hours teaching and preparing as you learn about the economics behind everything from the price of milk to the interest rate on your bank loan and the value of your labor.

Tool trades and freedom of choice
In Economics, the tool subjects mathematics and statistics are an important part of the education. The subjects run parallel to the economic subjects, and they form the basis for you to work with economic issues both analytically and methodologically. Part of the Bachelor's degree in Economics consists of elective courses, which means you have the opportunity to shape the education in the direction you want.

Career opportunities
Most Bachelor's graduates from Economics continue their studies on the Master's degree in Economics. It is a direct extension of the Bachelor's degree and gives you the opportunity to work with topics such as finance or micro- and macroeconomics.
